Eclipse Sailing Experience – August 12, 2026

On August 12, 2026, Barcelona will experience one of the most extraordinary astronomical events of the decade: a near-total solar eclipse at sunset.

Instead of watching it from the crowded city, join us at sea.

This special 2.5-hour sailing experience takes you along the Barcelona coastline during the exact window of the eclipse. As the Sun lowers over the horizon and the Moon begins to cover it, you’ll enjoy the moment from the calm of the Mediterranean, with open views, sea breeze and a relaxed atmosphere on board.

The eclipse begins around 19:35, reaches its maximum at 20:29 and ends around 20:54 in Barcelona. During the maximum, almost the entire solar disc will be covered, creating a unique sunset atmosphere over the city and the sea.

Your ticket includes certified eclipse glasses, drinks, Mediterranean snacks, music on board and a professional skipper.

This is a limited shared experience with only a small number of guests per boat. We will operate two sailboats for this special event, and once the spots are gone, they’re gone.

19:35 — Eclipse begins

The Moon starts covering the Sun as we sail along the coast.

20:29 — Maximum eclipse

Experience the most powerful moment of the eclipse from the Mediterranean.

20:54 — Eclipse ends

Enjoy the final moments of the sunset and the evening atmosphere at sea.

21:30 — Return to Port Olímpic / Port Vell
